Airplane factories are noisy places, but there's a sound that's never been heard at any Piper factory, and that's the sound of a Piper pure jet engine spooling up. That's all about to change as the company puts the final touches to its proof-of-concept PiperJet at the Vero Beach facility. AVweb's Russ Niles talked to Piper's Bob Kromer about the excitement that's building there.
