Most of us can remember clearly what happened to us 32 years ago, and we've seen a lot in that time, there's no doubt. Consider that it was 32 years to the day between the Wright brothers' first flight at Kitty Hawk and the first flight of the DC-3 in Santa Monica. Both occured on December 17, and DC-3 owner Dan Gryder spoke with AVweb's Russ Niles about the impact of arguably the most important airplane in history on its 75th birthday.
