Complete Rules
There's nothing to buy. All you need to do is be registered with AVweb.
Minimum age is 16 years for the ride. There's no age requirement for AVweb signups.
You'll have to be at the EAA AirVenture show early Monday morning, July 28th. We'll advise you of the time. There's no alternative date for weather.
You don't have to be a pilot.
Participants will need to physically fit into the T-6 seat. We can make no promises here, sorry.
The winner will be randomly selected and judged by the AVweb staff. Decisions of the judges are final.
The winner will be notified by e-mail and cell phone on Saturday afternoon, July 26th at 6 p.m. In the event that we don't hear from the winner to acknowledge by Sunday morning, July 27th at 10 a.m., a second winner will be drawn. If the second winner doesn't acknowledge by 6 p.m., a third winner will be drawn. (After that, we're taking the seat ourselves.)
Winners assume all risks for this flight.
Winners agree that the AeroShell Aerobatic Team, Shell Oil and its subsidiaries, AVweb and Belvoir Media Group and the Experimental Aircraft Association in no way assume any liability for the safe and successful completion of this flight.
