If you're looking for one more fly-out weekend this season with semi-rustic camping, The Weekender found some invitations on SocialFlight. Join fellow campers Friday for Centre Airpark's 13th annual fly-in weekend in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania. There will be a big breakfast Saturday morning, lunch at the farm next door, then a potluck dinner, movie and campfire. On Sunday, the group will fly out to Lock Haven for breakfast. The hosts at Critter's Lodge in Centerville, Texas, invite all to a weekend campout starting Friday evening with a kickoff dinner. Camping includes indoor restrooms, solar outdoor showers, firewood, Wi-Fi and lots of good food. Cots, pillows and blankets are available for a nominal fee for those packing light or those who don't want to sleep on the ground.

Day trips include the Wings of Dreams Aviation Museum's breakfast benefit event on Saturday in Keystone Heights, Florida. Complimentary breakfasts will be provided for WWII and Korean War veterans. Don Riley, lead mechanical systems engineer for the Saturn I and Saturn V launch vehicles, Apollo and Skylab programs, will speak at the Fly Into History presentation. Also Saturday, the Ohio State University Airport in Columbus, Ohio, will host its open house and the 5K run/walk Don Scott Trot on the runway. This will be a community-oriented event with a pancake breakfast, military demonstrations, tethered hot air balloon rides, static displays and Young Eagles flights.
