Aerosearcher, the free, multi-marketplace search engine available on AVweb, can now be accessed via the Marketplace blue button located on the far right top of the homepage. Clicking on the Marketplace button takes a visitor to three expanded search pages accessing over 300,000 GA parts and products, 20,000 airplanes and 50,000 aviation jobs without leaving AVweb.
Designed to make it far more convenient to search dozens of aviation databases via the Aerosearcher widget, aircraft owners, sellers, brokers and dreamers, Aerosearcher is an index of dozens of aviation classified sites. Compared to the largest aviation classifieds sites with four or five thousand aircraft listed, this new search capability on AVweb lets users sift through more than 20,000 aircraft—the vast majority of aircraft available in North America and across the globe at any given time.
For GA parts and products search terms are simpler and faster than any other site. Part number searches and generic term searches yield instant results.
The Aerosearcher marketplace is not a ”classifieds engine,” but an index of all the web’s top classified sites. When clicking through results, visitors are taken to the listing on a third-party site and are able to view all relevant details of each search. Multiple filters make it easier to get the specific search item in seconds.
Users can also enter a long-term search request that will update their chosen category with automatic emailed notices as often as new data is located. The effect of this capability is that whenever a new item is listed anywhere on the web it will almost certainly be found on our search within minutes. No other service has this capability.
