One-G Simulation has announced its new Vero 28 flight training device has been approved as an Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD). The Vero 28 is designed to emulate the G1000-equipped Piper Archer TX aircraft.
Hartzell Propeller and Hartzell Engine Technologies parent company Tailwind Technologies has acquired Quality Aircraft Accessories Inc. In addition to being an FAA Part 145 Class 1 and Class 2 Repair Station for piston engine and airframe accessories, Quality Aircraft Accessories is an aftermarket stocking distributor for general aviation accessory manufacturers with facilities in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Finally, California-based private charter jet operator and aircraft management company Sun Air Jets has achieved the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO)’s Stage 3 safety registration level. According to the company, “IS-BAO Stage 3 is achieved when the operator verifies that safety management activities are fully integrated into the operator’s business and that a positive safety culture is being sustained.”
