AVweb’s news roundup found reports on a new addition to a pay-per-use flight simulator program, a free connectivity webinar and the opening of a pilot supply shop. Seattle-based one-G Simulation has announced that its Foundation 1000 Cessna 172 G1000-based flight simulator is now available on a pay-per-use basis through the company’s one-G Access Program. The Access program lets qualified flight schools pay a percentage of the simulator’s hourly rental rates to one-G instead of purchasing the simulator.

Duncan Aviation will be hosting a free “Wi-Fi 101” webinar to discuss Gogo Business Aviation inflight connectivity solutions. Event speakers will be Duncan Aviation Regional Avionics Sales Manager Michael Kussatz and Gogo Business Aviation Regional Sales Manager Andy Fernandes. The webinar will be held on July 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern Time. Finally, FLYGTA Airlines, Avworld Canada and the Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport have announced the grand opening of pilot supply store FLYGTA’s The Prop Shop by Avworld. The shop is located at The Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport in Markham Ontario, with additional retail outlets scheduled to open at other FLYGTA locations.
