PS Engineering unveiled a new dual control head for its PAC45 Special Mission Digital Audio Control System on Tuesday. The PAC45D offers features including five comm radio interfaces, configurable pilot right or left seat, plug and play with legacy audio controllers, configurable bezel labels and preprogrammed aural alerts. It also comes with MutliTalker, an audio software system developed by the U.S Air Force that “spatially separates sound cues to mimic real-life human audio capabilities.”

“We had many conversations with industry leaders and system users, in shop completion centers and at trade shows,” said product line manager Greg Ledbetter. “We asked them what we should do next. The consensus was unanimous, they needed a dual control head. Now PS Engineering has what they need.”

According to PS Engineering, the PAC45D audio control hub can either be remotely mounted or attached to the panel unit. List price for the PAC45D is $8995 with deliveries expected to begin by the end of the first quarter of 2020.
