Jet Centers Becomes GateOne

Texas-based Jet Centers announced late last month that the company has changed its name to GateOne as part of an aggressive branding strategy to support its growth initiatives, according to Thomas Mathew, president and chief executive officer. GateOne has FBOs in the western and southwestern U.S., including Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), Austin, Texas; Natrona County International Airport (CPR), Casper, Wyo.; Meacham International Airport (FTW), Ft. Worth, Texas; Greeley-Weld County Airport (GXY), Greeley, Colo.; and Tucson International Airport (TUS), Tucson, Ariz.

“Our goal with GateOne is to establish the FBO industry’s first luxury brand in key markets throughout the world,” said Mathew in a company press statement. “We know what it takes to gain market share in this highly competitive industry and we’re well on our way in terms of people, products and processes to not only meet, but exceed the expectations of the sophisticated private traveler and the flight professionals who serve them.”

Mathew said that all GateOne facilities will feature private club amenities that include private pilot’s lounges, state-of-the-art weather information and flight-planning systems, concierge services for local transportation and entertainment reservations, as well as an onsite business center. In addition, GateOne provides full-service maintenance support for a wide variety of piston and jet aircraft as well as office and hangar space, fueling, tie-down, Jet A, 100LL, oxygen service, GPU, pre-heating, de-icing, catering and Customs service. GateOne is an Avfuel dealer, and a member of Avfuel’s network of premier FBOs at all locations.
