EAA officials met with Office of Management and Budget leaders last week on Sport Pilot. EAA presented a 10,000-name petition (gathered in 10 days) supporting the new rule and stressed the economic and other benefits of the rule. The OMB will get a revised version of the rule in the next week or so after the FAA withdrew the original to make some unidentified changes.
