PREVIOUS RESULTS ***

Last week, we asked AVweb readers which of the currently-proposed alternatives to 100LL (if any) will reign as the avgas of the future.

While none of the options topped 50% of the vote, the most popular single option (with 39% of the vote) was that leaded fuel will be history soon, but the main source of aviation fuel will still be petroleum. Not all of you were convinced, however – another 31% of readers said that while petroleum is viable for the short term, we must keep working on alternatives.
