Qantas Airline Crash in Bangkok, Thailand
On September 23, A Qantas Airlines Boeing 747-400 jumbo jet arriving at Bangkok, Thailand after a flight from Sydney, Australia, ran off the runway and onto a nearby golf course. Thankfully, no one among the 407 passengers and crew were injured. It’s not clear if a failure of the nosewheel caused the jet to overrun the runway or if the nosewheel failed during the overrun.
Although the aftermath looks pretty bad, this big Boeing will probably flyagain.
