While returning from visiting family in Texas, we had just crossed into Virginia after a long day of flying. Off on the left side of the aircraft was a heart shaped cloud. I quickly took the photo then showed my wonderful wife, that indeed we were back in Virginia, and Virginia is for Lovers and lovers of flying. I used my iPhone 6S and nothing has been changed in the photo. The flight was on the 3rd of July at 11,000 feet in my aircraft, a C-182, N787DD as can be checked on flight aware. The heart didn't last very long, but it sure was pretty. Photo by James C. Hyde. A DHC2 on floats offloading at Port Washington, Pender Island. Image taken with a Nikon D610.
