This picture was taken from an evening flight over Lake Monticello near Columbia, SC. Camera setup is a GoPro Max mounted on a boom attached to the wings strut. Although the GoPro software technology hides the attachment to the wing, this picture has not been edited. Photo by Matt Moore.
PICTURE OF THE WEEK: Citabria Sunset
Concorde G-BOAG, sometimes known as "The Forgotten Concorde" and always known as Alpha Golf, is now in the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Only one photograph of Concorde in flight exceeding M1.0 was ever taken; it is of Alpha Golf and was taken from an RAF Tornado. I took this photograph on April 25th 2001 in a BA engineering hanger at London Heathrow, on a Canon EOS 50 35mm camera with 400 ASA Kodak color negative film. Copyrighted photo by James Butler.
