The Midwest LSA Expo will hold its seventh annual show Thursday through Saturday at Mt. Vernon Outland Airport in Illinois. About 45 exhibitors will be at the show, including dealers for light sport aircraft, kitplane companies, avionics and parts businesses and aviation organizations. This year, the show will also feature an expanded Part 103 ultralight display featuring Quicksilver. Seminars and forums will take place throughout the event; new titles include "Zero time to Certificated Pilot" and "TFR Avoidance" by USAF NORAD.

Organizers are marketing the show as the "most convenient and affordable" event of its kind, with a central Midwest location about an hour drive from St. Louis. Fly-in and drive-in parking and public admission to the show are free, and meals on the expo grounds will be affordably priced. The airport boasts proximity to multiple hotels in Mt. Vernon and on-field camping is available.
