EAA 2000 Coverage Home

You will need RealPlayer to hear OSHtalk.

Wednesday OSHtalk (July 26, 2000) — OSHtalk returns to EAA’s AirVenture 2000, under the wing of the Twin Beech in the North Forty camping area, to continue our nightly hangar flying sessions with notable aviators and aviation industry figures. We were very fortunate to have Craig Sincock, the CEO of AVfuel, talk to AVweb’s OSHtalk about the recent price spikes we all faced as well as his thoughts on the future of aviation fuel. This is one interview you won’t want to miss. Then, host Rick Durden had a chance for a long conversation with aerobatic champion and renowned airshow performer, Patty Wagstaff, right after she has finished performing on the first day of AirVenture 2000. Pattytalked about selection of airplanes for competition, how airshow pilots deal with the demands of the public while making sure they have enough time to meet the demands for day-to-day flying on the edge. She talked about her work with a charitable organization for handicapped kids, the camaraderie of airshow pilots and what she anticipates for the future of aerobatic competition, airshows and herself as a performer.

Listen to Wednesday OSHtalk (running time 57 minutes).
