There may not be a “Real Problem”. But try persuading the public of that. We have enough perceived (though often erroneous) strikes against GA. Mitigating this one would help with perception.
Many strikes against GA, some more subtle.. Like “Next Gen” on the entire industry, still decades in the making.. 100LL, when 80 was working fine.. ADS was sold as a collision avoidance, when mid air’s were at a minimum. And now a costly upgrades and lost freedoms.. The New Certification Standards, now getting a second look.. Everything GA, being pitched as a great idea, seems to come up short on substance and effect..
