Airliner Across the Sun
Shot this for a sunspot series I have on my Facebook page. Shot from my yard.
The image is cropped, and one dust spot was cloned out. Shot with a Nikon D300s with a 600mm f/4 lens with 1.4 teleconverter, through an Orion solar filter.

Kitfox at Hidden Splendor, Utah
My Kitfox (N85DD) is the original Dan Denney Kitfox factory demo plane. Built in 1985, it took first place in Homebuilt Aircraft at EAA 1986 & 1987. The photo was taken September 29, 2012 at Hidden Splendor wilderness airstrip in southeast Utah during a Utah backcountry fly-in.
