Enterprise -> Discovery
Visited the Air and Space Museum this past weekend; at a glance, I saw this week's winning photo as the same as I took. Expanded it - and had to show my 12-year-old son. He recognized the site in an instant - but noticed that something was different. I hope you find the change from Enterprise to Discovery as curious as we did.

Sunrise on the Other Side
iPhone 4S, taken whilst jump-seating (dead-heading) from Cape Town to Johannesburg. The original of the engine and winglet in the early morning sunlight (sunrise on the other side of the aircraft) was modified using Snapseed.

Taken at Wing Commander Wallis's home in England. 95 and still flying his gyro-copters. Made famous in the James Bond film You Only Live Twice. More on Wallis at his web site.

FAA air traffic controllers wearing their iconic bright pink shirts, on duty at FISK, watch as an arriving aircraft flies over the designated VFR entry point for a traffic pattern assignment at OSH.
