Matt Younkin leaves a brilliant white smoke trail in the blue sky over Wittman Regional Airport (OSH) as a he completes a slow barrel roll in his Beech Model 18 and dives back to air show center.
Lights On!
Took in the night air show at EAA Airventure 2011 and got this shot of Team AeroShell at twilight. Photo was cropped and brightened in Photoshop Elements.

I cleared KFSM 25, and ground said if we taxied expeditiously, the A-10s would give way. And that we did. It was hard to pick the best picture.
A Hero Rests
While in Victoria, British Columbia in October 2007, we spotted C-FLYL, one of the two Martin Mars water tankers operated by Coulson Flying Tankers. They can pick up 7,200 gallons of water in 25 seconds and deliver it as 60,000 pounds of fire retardant foam. With all the airborne firefighting going on around the country, I thought it would be a fitting tribute to a real aerial hero - the Mars Water Bomber.

Hartford Hospital's Life Star leaves the Simsbury Fly-In on September 18 (presumably for more important business). I reduced the file size to meet the posting requirements using Photoshop CS4. The original image was shot with a Canon PowerShot A710IS.
