Super Cub RanchoAero (Chico, CA)
Clean shot taken with a Cannon G9. No changes except resized. Taken April 17, 2011 at RanchoAero Airport (Chico, California).

The Joy of Flight
Just resized. Taken by friend's DLSR camera in southern Bohemia, Czech Republic while we did a "recon" of a summer camp of a Scout troop I am a member of. (Tee-pees visible on the ground.)

Alaskan Paradise
While driving to Matanuska Glacier, my son and I "stumbled upon" this little piece of paradise just south of Palmer, Alaska. Shot with my Nikon Coolpix 3200. Cropped and slightly enhanced with Apple iPhoto.

B-29 and Rocky Road Birthday Cakes
Denver and Grampa share a birthday. Denver's Mom, who runs "Sweet on You" Cake Shop in Logan, Utah, made a B-29 cake! Grama made a delicious rocky road cake, too! =)

Mt. St. Helens, WA - Smoking Crater
Taken with an Olympus Digital Camera from my Glasair on the way from Arlington, Washington to Novato, California. No digital enhancements were made.

AeroShell Aerobatic Team - AirVenture 2010
The AeroShell Aerobatic Team performs in silhouette under a high overcast sky at Oshkosh.

Sky Star and Sunflowers (in the Background!)
ASK21 glider at rest on the grass strip of the Montricher Air Field near Geneva. Photo taken with a Pentax Optio P80 camera at 1/1000 sec, F 2.8, focal length 6 mm. No other modification than reduction of the original file to under 1 MB.

Sunrise at Monument Valley
Shot on the ramp at the Gouldings Monument Valley Air Strip.

First Bird's-Eye View of the World
I previously submitted a picture of me and my grandson Joe just prior to his first flight. This picture is during that first flight. The look on his face says it all. I think he is hooked.

End of the Day, Headed Home
Picture is of Greg Connell Air Show's "Pitts Model 12," taken end of the day in South Carolina over "Twin Lakes." Photo credit: Dean Wingard, Nikon D90 18-105 with Nikon lens; sized in Photoshop. I'm an amateur photographer who likes to fly and take photos of cool planes.
