The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) received the Gold Level Wellness at Work Award from Van Mitchell, secretary of the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, at a ceremony held at the BWI Marriott in Linthicum Heights on June 10.
Forty-two Maryland businesses received awards and only nine received Gold level awards. There are four levels of awards, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and On The Path. AOPA Benefits Director Peggy Yusko made a presentation at the awards ceremony and participated in a panel discussion.
