FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
COMPLETED INSTALLATION OF FAA APPROVED PILATUS PC12 BASED FLIGHT SIMULATOR
Seattle, WA (1/5/18) - The recent installation of the commissioned Swiss 12 concludes this one-G simulation project. The Swiss 12, a Pilatus PC12 based flight simulator, was meticulously designed and built to match a Series 10 aircraft fleet and has been awarded approval by the FAA as an Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD).
Like one-G's line of other FAA approved AATD's, the Swiss12 is model specific, emulating the precise flight characteristics, instrumentation, systems, and cockpit ergonomics of the Pilatus PC12. The Swiss12 is a cost effective platform for both recreational and commercial operators of this aircraft type.
The custom commissioned project was undertaken by one-G's Creative Solutions Studio from proof of concept to FAA approved AATD. This was accomplished with the objective of improving and reducing the cost of a Part 135 operator's training program by enabling them to perform pilot and crew training at their own location. By doing so, the operator may meet FAA requirements and improve overall pilot proficiency and safety through focused simulator based training, while simultaneously minimizing out-of-state travel costs.
one-G accomplished the final installation through a turn-key process including crating, shipping and site specific logistics at the operator's Utah based facility. Once installation was complete, final system diagnostics and settings were remotely confirmed by one-G's technical staff at Seattle headquarters. CEO, Xylon Saltzman said, "With our first Swiss12 installation complete, one-G has again demonstrated its ability to successfully execute a custom project, remaining on schedule and on budget throughout the process. But perhaps the greatest achievement is the partnership that has been formed with the customer: one where the entire one-G team feels a deep sense of dedication to their mission and a recognition of the trust that was placed in our team to develop an effective solution to their need for comprehensive in-house training. In 2011 we began as a customer service focused company and the culmination of this installation is reminder of our success in that realm."
The Swiss12 is in production and available for order now. one-G's Creative Solutions Studio is also accepting proposals for custom aircraft simulation or software only training solutions.
