The 29th annual Land of Enchantment Fly-In (LOEFI) will be held on Sep 21, 2019 at Double Eagle II (KAEG, West Mesa Airport) in Albuquerque, NM. The event is hosted EAA 179, the Albuquerque chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association. Pilots, families, anyone interested in aviation is invited to attend. Admission is free.
— As in recent years, we expect to have many aircraft on the ramp – amateur built, vintage, military, gyrocopter, ultralight, and many production aircraft. See the aircraft up close and talk with pilots about aviation and flying.
— We will have our traditional awards for Best of Category (Amateur Built, LSA, Vintage, Contemporary, Warbirds, Sailplanes, & Trikes) plus Oldest Aircraft, Fly-in From Furthest Away, and Grand Champion. Attendees are invited to vote for the People’s Choice, and youngsters for the Kids Choice aircraft.
— We will have a hangar full of exhibitors from New Mexico aviation organizations & vendors.
— There will activities for kids (adults have enjoyed them too), and a Fly Mart offering aviation-related merchandise.
— Breakfast and lunch will be offered – $5 per person for the day (free for fly-in pilots and their passengers).
