Flight Safety International and the City of Wichita have reached an agreement on disposition of the former Flight Safety facility, which was heavily damaged when a King Air crashed into the building. As we reported last year, four people, including three Flight Safety employees in the building, were killed when the aircraft crashed. Since then, the company has rebuilt and on Thursday, the company and the city agreed to level the damaged building.

"The remaining structure will be removed and the land returned to the City. The process will begin shortly and completed as soon as possible," Flight Safety said in a statement."We thank the Mayor and the members of the Wichita City Council for their support and assistance. We look forward to continuing our mutually beneficial working relationship." More than 400 people work for Flight Safety in Wichita.
