At the 2018 Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring, Zenith Aircraft invited AVweb to build a rudder for its new kit, the CH 750 Super Duty. Two hours later, we were done. Here's Paul Bertorelli's video report on the project. After pulling rivets, we flew the airplane.

Good for you Paul. Imagine building an entire airplane yourself from ground up and taking it up for the first flight. It's one of life's greatest moments. You never look at airplanes quite the same way again.

BTW.. the new capthca thing is MADDENING! So unnecessary.. please get rid of that nonsense.

Hey Paul. Nice work. Be nice to see a sidebar one of these days on the "un-panel..." Interesting. Tim

Congrats on the start
I remember Chris Heintz (Designer of the Zenith Line) once telling me that he could tell how far along a builder was by the handshake....the firmer the grip meant the closer to completion with 1000's of pulled rivet behind him or her
Of course that didn't take into account the presence of the ubiquitous pneumatic riveter
