Targeting the market’s lower end, Garmin introduced at AirVenture 2017 the GDL82. This is a 978 UAT ADS-B Out solution that will sell for $1795 and includes a WAAS GPS receiver. For buyers who qualify for the FAA’s $500 equipage rebate, it could be the least expensive ADS-B Out solution we’ve seen to date.
