One-G Simulation Receives FAA Approval for New AATD

The Federal Aviation Administration has completed the approval process for the 1G-Foundation(TM), the latest pilot training device manufactured by Seattle based, one-G simulation. With a small footprint form factor, wireless connectivity and the ability for an instructor to simultaneously provide and record training to an entire fleet of these devices, this product aims to radically improve the way that pilots learn. One-G simulation believes that by fully integrating these devices into every step of the existing pilot training model, general aviation pilots will learn more effectively, spend less money and utilize fewer natural resources.

From initial ground instruction, through advanced instrument and proficiency training, one-G simulation expects flight schools, colleges and individual pilots alike will greatly benefit from this innovative trainer. The 1G-Foundation(TM) is constructed of high grade materials including aluminum, composites and polymers and comes complete with the latest in avionics and navigation emulation hardware, including one-G simulation's recently released 1G-650(TM) GPS emulator. Customers may select from models based on the popular Cessna? 172 and 182 fixed and retractable gear series aircraft, depending upon their specific needs.

One-G simulation has received multiple FAA approvals in 2014, affirming their mission to provide a full line of model specific affordable aviation training devices. Saltzman indicated that one-G simulation is ramping up production in anticipation of significant sales of the 1G-Foundation(TM) following the official product release on December 29, 2014. Seattle based flight school, modernPilot, has already taken delivery of multiple 1G-Foundation(TM) devices, following their direct involvement in a rigorous beta testing program.
