COPA, BCAC Sign Associations Agreement
The Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) and the British Columbia Aviation Council (BCAC) are pleased to announce that today they signed a formal Affiliated Associations Agreement.
The Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) and the British Columbia Aviation Council (BCAC) are pleased to announce that today they signed a formal Affiliated Associations Agreement. These two aviation organizations, having many common interests in the furtherance of Canadian Aviation and a desire to work cooperatively in achieving common goals, and they are granting each other the status of Affiliated Associations.
COPA is a national not for profit association that represents the Personal Aviation Sector in Canada. This 17,000 member association's mission statement is: COPA protects Personal Aviation and promotes it as a valued, integral and sustainable part of the Canadian Community. Their vision is that: COPA will be the strong, recognized and credible voice, sufficient in size and capability to optimize access to Personal Aviation in Canada.
The British Columbia Aviation Council is a BC based charitable society that was established in 1938. The BCAC's mission is: To promote, stimulate and encourage the development, growth and advancement of aviation and aerospace in British Columbia. Their vision is: An aviation and aerospace industry that is visible, connected, and thriving.
Today's agreement was signed by COPA's President and CEO Bernard Gervais and by The BCAC's Chairman of the Board, Mark Duncan.
