Chicago-based Boeing Co. has agreed to base its three-jet corporate fleet at the airport in Gary. The company’s fleet includes a 737 and two smaller jets. Boeing split the fleet between Midway Airport and Gary last year, a few months after it announced it was moving its corporate headquarters from Seattle to Chicago. "We made the decision to consolidate at Gary based on meeting the needs of internal customers, including Boeing executives; operating the fleet in a cost-effective manner; and the availability of existing facilities," Boeing spokeswoman Ann Eisele told the Chicago Tribune
