Sebring Affordable Aircraft Expo This Week

0

With a fresh injection of ideas and a little different focus, the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo gets underway Jan. 14 at Sebring Regional Airport in central Florida. It runs through Jan. 17. The show has been rebranded as the Affordable Aviation Expo and will be a clearinghouse of products and services for those looking to buy, and even sell, safe, reliable and attractive aircraft that are within financial reach of a greater cross section of the population. Several companies and organizations will be displaying aircraft, such as AOPA’s reimagined Cessna 152 and the Triple R Affordable Aircraft initiative with its program to refurbish good old airplanes into great like-new modern aircraft.

For the first time this year, those with good airplanes for sale will be invited to display them in an onsite aircraft sales lot. Aviators Hot Line will manage the lot. There will also be plenty of new airplanes on display along with forums and entertainment. The weather is looking mild and mostly dry for the four days of the show. Full information and the fly-in Notam are available here.
