View from the backseat of a Krosno glider at Great Lakes Gliding Club near Tottenham, Ontario on July 3rd. That is me sporting the bright yellow hat (and not wholly accepted by the rest of the glider crowd) as I work on a power to glider conversion.
I took the picture just before I left the Van Nuys Airport for the day at sunset, after a training flight under the clouds.
Camera: My old Sony DSC-H9
Resized only to meet the picture size limit; not manipulated otherwise.
The excitement builds as my turn for a tow comes up.
Taken at Chilhowee Gliderport in Benton, Tennessee with a 35mm disposable camera.
A wonderful flight south from Rhode Island through the Hudson River SVFR flyway at 1,000 feet.
Lumix 5-megapixel camera; no touch-up.
Caught this reflection off the right side of the rudder while preflighting in Nantucket. This is a Cessna 421C with the Riley turbine conversion essentially a Cessna 425 Conquest.
Medicine Hat Airport (CYXH) on July 22, 2012.
Canon PowerShot SX100 IS. Resized using Paint.
