Linda Pendleton, longtime pilot and instructor and author of the book Flying Jets, died July 20 in Denver. Her longtime friend and colleague Randy Phillips said she blazed trails for female pilots. “She inspired a generation…,” he said. Pendleton worked for Flight Safety, King Schools, Eclipse Aviation and Boeing-Jeppesen as an instructor. She was 78.
