Interesting paint scheme on the Lysander. Somehow, I don’t believe the RAF would have flown into Occupied France with that as their subdued paint. 😄
Is that a boarding platform it’s sitting on? A way for passengers, crew, maintenance people and cargo to access the aircraft out of the water–then lower it to water level?
I’ve flown multi-engine seaplanes, including the Sikorsky S-38–but have never seen a platform like this.
