Steep Dive
Our glider had just released from the Pawnee tow plane, which is steep-diving with its rope over the little town of Biere near Montricher Air Field.
Photo taken with a Pentax K5 camera at 1/500 sec, F 22, focal length 190 mm. The image was just slightly re-centered and the original file reduced to under 1 MB.

Endeavor's Final Flight - Over Los Angeles
The space shuttle Endeavor, on the back of NASA's shuttle carrier aircraft and flanked by an F-18 escort, circled low over Los Angeles on September 21.
This photo was taken with a Canon T2i and 100-400mm lens from an altitude of 5,500' (about 3,000' overhead). Level adjustments and reduced for file size.
