First Flight Fun
"Fam"iliarization flight fun - the first step towards a license! Used Canon Powershot 750D; no manipulation.

Holding Short for Traffic
On a return charter flight from Pensacola Naval Air Station, our flight had to hold for traffic while the Blue Angels passed by. Canon EOS XSi, EF 24-70mm f/2.8L. Resized only.

Going Back in Time
This is Lt. Col. Louis Schiavo (USAF Retired) pointing out the commander of his B-24 Bomb Group (the 467th BG) at Rackheath, England during 1944 on the the Collings Foundation B-24J Witchcraft, painted in the colors of the 467th. Col. Schiavo was a navigator on B-24s and was the lead nav for his group's first raid on Berlin in 1944. He flew in the actual Witchcraft on at least one occasion. No edits. Taken with a Canon PowerShot SD800iS. The photo was taken when the Collings Foundation brought the B-24 to Warrenton, Virginia in October 2009.

Night TW
Lightning illuminates a night time thunderstorm on the way to Jakarta. Sized and cleaned up in Photoshop Elements.

Final Approach on a P28A-180
It's an original photo I took on a Kodak Easyshare M530 digital camera while on final approach to RWY 29 at George Airport in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa (FAGG). No digital manipulation has been done on the photo.

Crater Lake from a Corvalis
Taken from 14,000 feet on the first leg of a three-day trip from KLHM to PANC. Camera was a 3.2mp Blackberry. No digital manipulation.

Hector's Wall
Taken at the 2011 Caveman Ranch Fly-In near Moab, UT. Taken with a Nikon D40.

Stealth
I couldn't help but notice the shape not showing in the precipitation over Lakehurst, NJ. Looks like the B-52's stealth works with radara, but I think there's a glitch in the technology! Taken with a Sony DSC-H5.
