Took this photo with my phone on one of my solo flights from PFN to the practice area back when I was a student pilot.
Cub Landing at Penn Yan
Cub landing in Penn Yan, NY (PEO) on a gusty, windy afternoon. Whoever it was made it look easy! Photo taken with a Kodak Z1012IS from 4,500'. Colors were brightened slightly in Paint Shop Pro X. (More at Chris's blog.)
Modern Clear - Darkness
Photo taken with a Pentax Optio P80 camera at 1/400 sec, F 7.0, focal length 5mm. No other modification than reduction of the original file under 1MB. Scene observed: A stormy day on the air field of Montricher, near Geneva.

Picture was taken with an iPhone at Moraine Airpark (I73) after the first flight on skis.
Saving Naval Aviation History
The Airwing of Moffett Museum, located at NASA Moffett Federal Air Field (Mt. View, CA), is currently restoring many significant aircraft: a P-2V (pictured), an early F-18, an F-104, a Cobra Gunship, a U-2 Dragon Lady, and a P-3A. The restorations [include] the inside also, with period cockpit instruments, tactical equipment, and displays being installed when findable. This photo was taken with a Nikon K100 in the Moffett Hangar Three, which is a piece of Naval aviation history itself.

Starting the Day
Photo taken at Braslia (SBBR/BSB), DF, Brazil. The sun had just started to rise, and the day had just begun for one more flight. The first hours of light are the best for a flight.
Title #13
This picture was taken from my C-206 arriving to Punta Delgada in La Tortuga island, 45 nautical miles north of Venezuela. The only place to land is a 1,500-feet sand strip.
Rainbow Below
My wife took this with a Panasonic DMC-FS7 from a C172SP over the Siskiyou Mountains on an IFR flight back to Corvallis after a visit to Southern California. We were mostly in the clouds but with some beautiful sun breaks.
Searchlighting Chesapeake Bay in Mid-Winter
Taken from my cell phone during a student training flight last week. No alterations to original.
