Garrett Expands APU Repair Capability

Falcon owners flying into New York's Long Island may have another option for their APU needs. Garrett Aviation's Long Island facility has expanded its APU repair services. The facility now offers heavy maintenance and hot section work on the Falcon 2000's Honeywell GTCP36-150F2M APU.

"We have a great deal of experience working on APUs for other aircraft," said Bill McIlwraith, APU customer service manager at Garrett-Long Island. "With our new tooling, we're able to go beyond simple line service for the Falcon 2000 and meet the operator's full-service needs."

Garrett-Long Island has received its first order for 150F2M APU repair work. Garrett's Long Island facility provides routine maintenance, hot section maintenance, and heavy maintenance for APUs on the following aircraft models: Falcon 20-5, Falcon 50, Falcon 900, Falcon 2000; Bombardier Challenger; Gulfstream II, III, IV and former IAI/Galaxy Aerospace Astra (G100); Hawker 800; and Cessna Citation III and X. Garrett-Long Island also provides line service for the Gulfstream G-V.
