AVweb‘s coveragethis year is in three parts:
- 1. It’s Back to Business at NBAA 2001
Notwithstanding a three months’ delay and an uncertain economy, it was back to business in New Orleans at the 54th National Business Aviation Association Annual Meeting and Convention. As expected, attendance was down. Some of the usual exhibitors could not alter their plans to accommodate the schedule change. Despite those expected hurdles, the business of business aviation advanced at a surprising pace. By Dave Hidgon.
- 2. Image Gallery, Part One
A delayed and downsized show with smaller crowds were not necessarily bad things. The tone from exhibitors and attendees alike leaned more toward “concentrated” than “smaller. In this, the first of two photo galleries, we walk you around the convention floor. Photography by Bob Kaputa.
- 3. Image Gallery, Part Two
The static display at NBAA 2001 was noticeably smaller than previous years, but that still failed to dampen the enthusiasm of those that visited the display at Lakefront airport. Fewer airplanes meant that our roving eye had more time for some closer looks. So relax while we take you on a tour of these beauties. Photography by Bob Kaputa.
