It was a beautiful cool morning and the air was as smooth as glass. The sun was at the perfect angle behind us, and suddenly I noticed my reflection in the compass. (That smile I'm wearing is a permanent fixture when I'm airborne; I so love taking those Cub rides!) I took this unedited photo with my Samsung Galaxy S5. Wayne Berzinis of Falmouth, ME This photo was taken on October 12, 2014 on Highland Lake in Falmouth Maine at 8:30am. This was the last flight of the 2014 season on floats, as I was transitioning to Twitchell's Seaplane Base (3B5) to have the floats removed. This is a Cessna 172 (180hp) on PK-2300 floats. The photo was taken with an iPhone 5. Felix Gadow of Eichenau, Bavaria (Germany) As seen back then in 2006 on a blackboard at Deer Valley (Arizona) airport. Taken with some sort of a camera. Can't remember what. Just cut to size through Photoshop
