This photo was taken near Bordeaux, in France! (Canon Reflex.)
Going Back in Time (II)
This is a follow-up to last week's photo of Lt. Col. Louis Schiavo (USAF Retired) with the Collings Foundation B-24J Witchcraft. A member of the B-24 Bomb Group (the 467th) at Rackheath, England during 1944, Col. Schiavo was a navigator on B-24s and was the lead nav for his group's first raid on Berlin in 1944. He flew in the actual Witchcraft on at least one occasion. No edits. Taken with a Canon PowerShot SD800iS. The photo was taken when the Collings Foundation brought the B-24 to Warrenton, VA in October 2009.

Mon Avion Est Faster than Your Airplane
May 12, 2011 on an Air France B-777 en route from Paris CDG to Montreal. Somewhere over the mid-Atlantic we caught up to and passed these guys. Shot with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 at 12X optical zoom. (It still looked pretty close to me!) Cropped and "auto corrected" with Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

"Gentleman Jim" at AirVenture 2010
P-51D Mustang (S/N 44-74230) at Wittman Regional Airport (OSH). The airplane is painted in honor of Capt. Jim Browing (USAAF) who named his Mustang Gentleman Jim. Browning had seven aerial victories in WWII before dying in a mid-air collision with a Luftwaffe Me-262.
High Five!
Billy Werth getting a "high five" from his brother at the Indy Air Show.
Black Avanti
I took this photo two summers ago on the ramp at PVU. The plane belongs to the makers of the Tazer. Totally clean photo from my Nikon Cool Pix camera.
