EAA requires all planes to be tied down. Paul & Carolyn Applegate and family enjoy the shade of their Cessna 170-B Some owners like to decorate their camping area...pink flamingoes? This Mullicoupe gets an escort to parking.

W.R. Rose of Barrington, IL brought this pretty 1935 Fairchild F22. Workers walk a Van's RV-8A to its exhibition spot. This F4U-4 was one of the four in the Warbirds area. New arrivals keep the volunteers busy at registration.
More new arrivals checking in. CAP cadets act as flagger to direct aircraft to parking. A couple of spectators check out a Cessna O-2 in the Warbirds area. A Fairchild PT-26 taxis to parking.
