We were practicing formation work just north of Phoenix, for the Sport Class Pylon Racing School as part of the Reno Air Races. I used Photoshop to enhance the contrast and to lighten up the subjects. It's not often we have cloudy skies in the Phoenix Area, but the clouds add a dramatic background to some beautiful airplanes. Taken with an iPhone 6s somewhere over the Carolinas/Georgia. No alterations. Copyrighted photo by James Kleen.Duke Coming Home I took this photo today on my flight from KSFZ - KHPN. Just after waiting out a few passing thunderstorms and flying north of another large cell, this was on the north side of the airplane. I took out my iPhone and managed to get this shot, no filters or edits applied.
