Embraer announced an upgraded version of its Phenom 300E business jet on Friday. According to the company, the Phenom 300E now offers a top speed of Mach 0.80 and increased range of 2,010 NM (3,724 km). An avionics upgrade includes a runway overrun awareness and alerting system, predictive wind shear, emergency descent mode, performance and takeoff/landing data (PERF/TOLD) and FAA Datacom. The aircraft also got a quieter cabin and a new interior option.

“Despite the Phenom 300’s extraordinary success in the past decade, our team of visionaries is always striving to deliver the ultimate experience to our customers, which means taking an industry-leading aircraft and making it even better, faster and safer,” said Embraer Executive Jets CEO Michael Amalfitano. “Boundless imagination and intelligent engineering gave birth to the Phenom 300E, and it is with that same spirit that we continue enhancing the most popular business jet of the decade.”

Deliveries of the new Phenom 300E are scheduled to begin in May 2020. The ten-passenger aircraft is powered by the Pratt & Whitney PW535E1 engine and is equipped with the Garmin 3000-based Prodigy Touch Flight Deck. The original Phenom 300 model launched in 2005 with the 300E introduced in October 2017.
