Unknown on camera, a bystander snapped it. I was doing a "salute" to a WWII pilot as the family had just scattered his ashes in the North Umpqua River. They had requested a "fly-by," which was impossible due to bridges and power lines from a nearby hydroelectric plant. Hence, I landed and did a "taxi-by." Submitted by John Proctor.
PICTURE OF THE WEEK: Glassy Water
My son and I went flying to social distance this past weekend and he absolutely loves his "airplane." His airplane was his great grandfather's airplane from 1986 to 1994. This is a 1960 M-35 Bonanza, N11GG. Copyrighted photo by James Gallagher/Gallagher Aviation.
