PICTURE OF THE WEEK: Short Final Page, AZ
This is the original Melmoth built by Peter Garrison, of FLYING magazine fame. I took this picture on a flight to Oshkosh in the mid 1970s. The airplane, the only one of it's kind, was destroyed when hit by a landing aircraft in 1982. Mr Garrison did build Melmoth II, but it was not identical. Camera was Mamiya Sekor.
