Cirrus Aircraft announced at Aero 2023 in Friedrichshafen, Germany, that it has delivered its 9,000th SR-series aircraft. In this podcast, SR product line director Ivy McIver talks with AVweb about the milestone delivery, what it means for the company and how Cirrus approaches moving its aircraft forward.

  1. Lovely aircraft. Out of my price range by a wide margin but I’m glad to share the skies with them. Is that a 4 blade prop in the picture?

    • Yes, there is a 4-blade STC available for the SR22. I believe it is a composite MT prop. I talked to a guy that had one and he said it helped the climb rate but not cruise speed. He did say it made a really good speed brake when you throttled back on descent.
